Armijo Surveys, Inc., was opened in January of 1998, in Santa Fe, NM. We provide land surveying services to homeowners, land owners, title companies, construction companies, realtors, and other individuals in need of surveying services. Our Services include:

Boundary Surveys determine the property lines of a parcel of land as described in a deed.  They include research at the County Assessor's Office to find any deeds or plats for the subject property and the adjoining properties listed in the County Assessor's records.  We locate and/or replace all the property corner monuments.  We then draft the Survey in AutoCAD, showing a scale map of the property, easement lines, setback lines, possible encroachments/overlaps, and all visible improvements.  The Survey is then recorded in the County Clerk's Office.  Boundary Surveys meet or exceed the NM State Standards. 

ALTA Surveys specify the data to be shown on the survey.  It includes boundary lines, location of the buildings/structures, improvements, easements (utility, etc.) ALTA surveys are usually performed on commercial properties.

An ALTA Land Survey meet or exceed the ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey standards as detailed by the American Land Title Association, National Society of Professional Surveyors and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping.  Click Here for ALTA Survey Table.

Improvement Location Reports of new or existing construction are used by lenders, banks and/or title companies. The report includes a scale map of the property, easement lines, setback lines, and visible improvements.  This Report is not a full survey, takes less time to complete, and costs less.  It is only for use by the title company.  It is not usable for purposes that require a survey.  

Topographic Surveys and Slope Analysis map the topography and slopes of a property, for use by: architects, designers or contractors.  Sometimes they are required by City or County Land Use Departments.

Land Division/Lot Split Surveys divide a property into two or more tracts or parcels.  Includes all the tasks of a Boundary Survey.

Lot Line Adjustment Surveys alter property lines of existing lots/parcels.  The Survey can alter the boundary between two or more parcels, or reconfigure the shapes of parcels. In every instance, Survey will yield the same number of parcels. The Lot Line Adjustment Survey is not used to create additional lots/parcels. 

Elevation Certificates for FEMA requires we survey the elevations of the terrain at the corners of the property, elevations of the finished floors of the buildings, and elevations of the reference markers that are on the flood zone map.  We then prepare a FEMA Elevation Certificate or FEMA Letter of Map Adjustment (LOMA).

Construction Surveys stakeout/layout, verify location of and provide asbuilt surveys of new construction. 

Stakeout or mark on the ground property lines before owners erect a fence/wall, etc.
